Reconnect The String is about the decolonization of Hip Hop Culture and the language that was and is being used by Hip Hop Education and academia. The very name Hip Hop Education is mistaken for Rap Education, because it mostly references Rap Industry Artists, instead of any other of Hip Hop Cultures elements. It challenges their statement that Hip Hop was born out of nothing, thus nullifying black/ African and other pioneers heritage as nothing, exposing the negation of Africans heritage and its nullification by white supremacy.
